Review: One of the best purhase for citchen i made - It works so well. The food is defenetly more tasty after using the pan. The only advise do not clean it with a dish gel, just put water and boil it and after that use a paper towel to make it dry.

The pre-seasoning is done in a professional way. Worth paying extra money for this brand. I purchased a set of 3 cast iron skillets from another brand back in October 2020 but stopped using them immediately because of the low quality, rust and cracks in the skillet.

**Q: How do you store a pan coated wth oil?**
A: Short answer is "in a cool, dry, dark place"
long answer is " Only for a limited length of time due to the oil on the pan eventually going rancid. If you baked the oil on to the pan it wont go rancid, but fresh oil will go bad eventually when exposed to air and light. "

**Q: can the silicone handle go in the oven?**
A: I believe that it might melt because of the combined oven heat and heat eat the cast iron handle. 
The intended use of the silicone handle is the protect your hand from the heat emanating from the cast iron handle.
Anything you put in your oven will get hot, obviously. This includes rubber (silicone). Hope this helps.

**Q: Hello, I just wanted to confirm pans are "preseasoned" with all natural treatment using no chemicals, anybody know the ingredients used? TY**
A: Not sure of the exact ingredients used but I did buy this pan and seasoned it myself with some olive oil and putting it in the oven on 425 for about 45 minutes.....I will tell you that the food that I have made in this pan is unbelievable hope that helps

The Lodge 12-inch cast iron pan is excellent quality and built to last. It’s heavy, which is expected from cast iron, and holds heat really well for cooking. Just keep in mind that it’s normal for cast iron pans to rust if not cared for properly. To prevent that, make sure to dry it thoroughly after washing, wiping it isn’t always enough. The best way is to place it on the stove for a few minutes to ensure it’s completely dry before storing
