About a month ago, we had a super windy day and even though my porch TV was secured, the wind knocked it over and completely smashed it. Sadly, that wasn’t the first TV I’ve lost to weather. After replacing multiple TVs over the years because of wind and rain, a friend recommended the TV Shield PRO 42-50" Anti-Glare Outdoor TV Enclosure — and I’m so glad I listened. Yes, it’s a little pricey upfront, but if you’ve gone through as many TVs as I have, it’s 100% worth it. I’ve had it installed for almost a month now and wanted to wait before reviewing to make sure there were no issues. I’m happy to say: ✅ Picture quality is still great (no noticeable distortion from the anti-glare front) ✅ No moisture buildup inside — even after multiple rainy days ✅ No dirt, fogging, or film on the screen ✅ TV turns on and off perfectly with no issues ✅ Extremely secure and durable My son even accidentally hit the enclosure with his bike handle while parking it on the porch — and nothing happened. Not a scratch, and the TV inside was completely protected. That alone sold me. If you have an outdoor TV (or even an indoor TV in a high-traffic area with kids or pets), this enclosure gives serious peace of mind. It’s sturdy, secure, and does exactly what it promises. Definitely worth the investment. I wish I had bought it sooner! Review: Does what it says it is going to - incredible quality. - Incredible solution. Look, this is a huge and heavy metal box that you have to figure out how to hang. Ultimately it is easy to install once you have that out of the way. Being able to buy a $200 display from Costco and not worry about it versus spending 4-6K on an outdoor display made it an easy decision. Ours is almost 4 years old and we've had no issues at all. ## Features - WEATHERPROOF OUTDOOR TV - Compatible with almost every 40" to 50" TV or digital display - Pick and choose what technology and features you want in a TV - All ventilation and cable pass-through systems are protected against water and intruders big and small - GUARANTEED PEACE OF MIND - 5-year warranty - IMPACT & WATER RESISTANT - The TV Shield PRO indoor and outdoor display enclosure's protection is equal to IP-55 standards and the unit includes high strength shatterproof anti-glare polycarbonate front shield to protect the TV screen while viewing… no need to be opening and closing this TV case - VERSATILE OUTDOOR TV ENCLOSURE - Lightweight paintable powder coated steel - UNIVERSAL DESIGN – Requires external mount, works with any standard VESA mount (sold separately) or can be bolted to wall (also sold separately); lightweight and easy to install. I like that the mount can move so the tv is on an angel. It wasn’t the easiest to mount but most good things aren’t. The electrician also said he wished it had an angled plug but that was it. ## Frequently Bought Together - The TV Shield PRO 42-50" Anti-Glare Outdoor TV Enclosure, Fits 42-50" Television - ECHOGEAR MaxMotion TV Wall Mount for Large TVs 42" to 90" - Full Motion Has Smooth Swivel, Tilt, & Extension - Universal Design Works with Samsung, Vizio & More - Includes Hardware & Drill Template - ECHOGEAR Wall Mount TV Bracket for TVs Up to 90" - Low Profile Design Tilts to Eliminate Glare - Includes Drilling Template & Can Be Leveled After Install - UL Listed for Safety --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/24924834-the-tv-shield-pro-42-50-anti-glare-outdoor-tv](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/24924834-the-tv-shield-pro-42-50-anti-glare-outdoor-tv) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
