## Description

The 1460 is the original Dr. Martens Boot. Made with instantly recognizable features: 8 eyes, classic Dr. Martens leather, grooved sides, a heel-loop, yellow stitching and a comfortable, air-cushioned sole. Built to last, this unisex boot is forged using one of the finest methods of construction: utilizing a Goodyear welt and heat-sealing it to the sole. The 1460 is made with highly durable leather and sits on an AirWair sole, which is oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are they water proof?**
A: No, not water proof. And the stitching fell apart within 3 weeks. Not the quality of the 80's docs that I remember.

**Q: Are these waterproof or should I spray to make them waterproof?**
A: No these are not waterproof. If you want to waterproof then please spray a water proofer on them. Thanks

**Q: If i wear a size 6 in women what size do i get**
A: You would get a 4 UK. It's 2 sizes smaller for a woman, 1 size for a man. Hope this helps!

**Q: Where are these made?**
A: They used to be made in England, but now I believe they outsourced to Asia.
