**Q: What is the benefit of having two almost similar reds yellows and blues?**
A: Proper color mixing. One blue is good for purple and the other is good for green. Mix the opposite and get a muted, dull or muddy color. Same goes for the other colors. No matter what we learned in school... red and blue don't make purple. Magenta + yellow = red. Therefore red + blue = all primary colors... also known as brown :)

**Q: Are the paints meant to be sealed with the foil cap they arrive?**
A: Mine did not have a foil cap.

**Q: is this acrylic or water soluble goauche?**
A: This is gouache (basically opaque watercolor.)

**Q: Is this really a 10 tube set?**
A: Yes it is a set of 10. The tubes are 14ml.
