But then I do not drop any glass glasses from a height, and I know to hold the bowl, not the stem, with one hand while I am drying with the other hand. (Riedel makes a perfect drying cloth) I wash (rinse mostly) by hand (takes a few seconds). I.e., I treat them like glass. I have bought thinner glass glasses for wine, tea and even for water for many years because I enjoy them so much more.
