Comes in styrofoam molded box. Felt circles are precut and on sticky back felt sheet. These felt circles can be added to bottom of pieces. Glass board is etched nicely and looks good on dark surfaces. Board has spongy rubber stoppers on corners. Smaller than I thought but that's okay. The board is SUPER hard to see unless you put it on a VERY dark background piece of cloth or paper. A black sheet of paper would do the trick. Also you have to put the felt on the bottom of all the chess pieces yourself and you can tell that they are not going to stay attached very long.
