It was Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking who popularized the idea that earth and every living thing is made of star matter. This train of thought could refer to this pen as well. Produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces with each pen individually numbered, The Star dust series was inspired by images of Star dust captured by a telescope. The pens are made of solid brass and are painted in multi-layers of dark and light Blue colors using a hand held spray gun in order to create a unique color overlap which resembles images of Star dust. Then the surface of each pen is thermo-baked, which turns the paint into beautiful baked enamel. Flawless, beautiful fountain pen. The body is really gorgeous. The pen is not too heavy despite being made of brass. The cap screws closed securely and posts snugly. The clip is secure. The extra fine nib is very wet, utterly smooth with perfect ink flow. I only learned of Xezo a few months ago but am extremely impressed with the quality and design of their fountain pens.
