A: No.  It’s like a jelly or jam. . Nothing whole or even parts of an apricot.  I use it for filling for a cookie.

**Q: How much sugar?**
A: You do not have to add sugar as the filling is sweet enough.

**Q: Is this like the nectar that was sold a few years back for lemon cake recipe? Could it be used for that?**
A: This is not the apricot nectar that was used years ago in the lemon cake.  The nectar had the consistency of a thick juice.  This Solo Apricot is more like a thick jam or preserves. 
 It is excellent filling for use in kolanches and other pastries.
