A: Mine worked but there is no wd distributor in UAE. Mine broke after 1 and I was lucky that Amazon gave me a refund, but it may not be the case

A: Check the volts of the included power supply.

**Q: The router does not recognize the hard disk. Please help.**

The device needs to be connected through USB, just check if there is a port to connect the USB , if not you need to change the router so that it gets connected, also you need to download the application in the phone to add the storage .
