It's clear that a great deal of thought has gone into the design - not only is it incredibly well padded but it's designed so that the off and volume buttons are difficult for little hands to get to but easy for adults get. The home button is also somewhat protected so it's more difficult for a child to press. The stand also works really well so that it is very steady and stands up well. I also take a certain degree of pleasure in the way the sleek and beautiful but impractical iPad has been rendered so huge and clunky!
