So I did what most people probably are doing and I tested it on a corner of my chalkboard. My particular board does not appear to be very porous. Be warned though that even though it erased beautifully the same day it was applied the results were much different after it was left on my chalkboard for a couple of weeks. The writing will not fully erase now. So if you're concerned about this I would recommend doing a long-term test before using it on a broader part of your surface. I was looking forward to branching out into the color options but I'll stick with conventional chalk and pastels. I'll try various ways to remove what I have, but I'm more interested in one-step removal. Otherwise it sort of defeats the purpose of our particular board that I change bi-weekly and would like to do with ease.
