Review: No disappointments - I’m not a frequent user of Binos. My last pair of Swift Binos was purchased in 1990 so I get a lot of mileage out of binos. I wanted an upgrade and one without really breaking the bank. So when I dollar cost averaged glasses out over the expected length of time I will use them, my price range came to about $1k. Affordable for me. I’m not a complicated guy so after reading the reviews of many glasses here, and thanks to the many reviews on here from people that are way more tech saavy and experienced, I chose these lil gems. The difference from what I had to how these glasses make the world seem makes me feel like I just came out of the stone ages. I can now see a louse fly on a hawks a$$ from a mile away. Well maybe not that but hopefully you get what I’m trying to say is that these glasses are impressive. I have looked through the lenses of other more expensive glasses in my time and these I fee are right up there without the crazy price tag. These glasses are by no means cheap but they are not Bentley $$$. They are more like Mercedes $$$. So from a avg user point of view, I’m impressed. I think you will be too. If you can afford to pay $2k-$4k for glasses then you probably won’t even read this. For for folks like me that shoot for the stars but settle on the moon.... you will enjoy these binos.
Review: "EYE-POPPING" QUALITY! - I always wanted to buy a good set of binoculars, so did my research and decided on these. They just have an elite feel and crystal clear view. My last bino purchase was a $150 set of Bushnells. Really so-so, lots of edge distortion, poor color quality, all that. None of those issues with these. Leica is a German company, but I understand these were manufactured in Portugal. That's still Western Europe, where great products are made. Pricey set, yes, but not farmed out to the Pacific Rim, where so many corners are cut by manufacturers.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do these have some sort of soundproof coating?**
A: Sound Proofing ?

**Q: Description says trivonid but picture is ultravid. is this the same binos?**
A: The picture that's next to list listing shows a Trinovid, which is the correct pictures for the latest trinovid. The Ultravids look different.

**Q: is this made in china?**
A: No. It is made in Portugal.

**Q: Anybody have a suggestion for a substitute for the universally reviled pseudo-strap/case? A rugged case in the $50 to $100 range would be fine.**
A: I have no ideas on this question.
