Maxcraft 60189 6-LED Flashlight with Magnetic Pick-Up Tool

This is a handy flashlight with a good magnetic pick-up. It works great when working on cars and you drop something, it picks it up well. The LED flashlight is bright and works well in small areas.

The light would work sporadically because of some manufacturing flaws. I tore the light down and found the ring of LED's had the lugs of individual LED's sticking up and didn't produce a smooth surface to make contact with the spring. I reworked it and now it works great.They need to check there quality control a little better.

Light doesn't work despite new batteries. You have to hit it, and maybe it'll turn on. Nice in concept; poorly executed.

Is larger then expected and flashlight would be better if brighter. Biggest weakness in my opinion is that the batteries are button-style batteries that stack at end of flashlight shaft. Design suggests it would use AA or AAA batteries, but it doesn't. It uses button-style batteries. This allows the telescoping rod to store in the shaft, where normally you'd find the batteries.

This light is almost worthless for anything other than shining right where the magnet is and not any further at all. What do you expect for less than $10?

I got this flashlight with magnetic pick-up tool for my boyfriend for Christmas and I think I like it as much as he does! It's such a cool concept, and although other reviewers had said theirs didn't work, ours worked great. The light was bright and the magnetic tool came out perfectly. I can't wait to drop something down a small space so we can try it out!

Not as bright as I wanted it to be. It's hanging on the roll bar of my Jeep and I use it when I'm missing something or drop something metalish between the seat. The magnet works great and is good for my uses. Only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the brightness.

The light didn't work, it had a fault.
