Most propane connection are either flare or pipe thread , did you read the spec’s ? I use Mega for pvc /abs waste slip connections and flange arm / nipples with treaded ends. For all my gas connections I use Rector Seal or yellow gas pipe Teflon thread tape **Q: Can this product be used as a thread sealant on diesel fuel applications? Any literature?** A: I’d rather go with another thread sealants specially designed for fuels, there are few of them and very reliable **Q: Can MegaLoc be used to seal the threads on the various fuel tank fittings on an aftermarket auxiliary fuel tank that wil be carrying diesel fuel ?** A: yes, works great for that. just makes sure threads are clean when you start. **Q: Based on the title description, this product is not the same as the picture. Can you please identify which is correct?** A: The product I received is the same as the one in the photo (Megaloc 15804) but it is for the 4oz size, not the 8oz shown in the main photo. If you scroll down it shows the 4oz size. I find it does an excellent job at lubricating the stainless steel fittings and when I remove fittings there's still plenty of dope on the threads helping to make a good seal. The steam rating and vacuum rating were very important to me and this product does the job well! Must be the Kevlar bits ... But whatever it is that makes it work, it's superior to the loctite product I was using before in both lubrication qualities, sealing ability, and durability.
