It's a hard job getting people's attention. And there are punishments for not thinking like the herd. It responds by shunning, isolation and outright abuse of those who think differently. If you can prove that you have the superior idea or plan, your are often hated, rejected or even threatened. So, this book tries to look into the minds of the new pioneers of culture and science and give them hope for the future by telling them that they are not alone and that that they have a grand purpose for their lives.There is an old joke that says that you can always tell who is a pioneer by the arrows sticking out of their back. For those who are pioneers, an explanation is needed. This book does a good job of giving that explanation. Why do they keep rocking the boat? Why won't they just shut up and get along?
