However, I am smiling more, and with confidence. Regarding application, one does have to start with a dry surface. I found that much easier to do for the top front teeth than for the bottom, which tended to get wet due to a prolific salivary gland. As a result, my tops seem whiter than the bottoms, but not distracting... just noticeable when I look close. Instructions say to just "apply and go." I found better results if I tried to keep my lips off of my teeth for a while after application.
