I barely noticed crumbles/residue when using it. --> Do not get it to attempt to erase colour pencils or ink, it will not work because that's simply not its purpose. <-- TIP: Like with any other eraser, before using it again please clean the tip of any graphite stuck to it and the clean tip will erase fine instead of smudging or getting your sketch dirty. I tested this eraser on graphite pencils 8B, 6B, 4B and 2B and it did lift graphite off the page, of course it did not leave the spot white where I used graphite 8B and 6B, the page was tinted light gray after passage of the eraser but I'm yet to find the rubber eraser that will completely eraser those dark graphite shades and leave the page white again.
