Imelda was delighted, but still she asked, \"I was wondering if I could have just one more present.\" \"Greedy girl!\" laughed her father. Unfortunately, her parents could not give her this one present--Our Lord in Holy Communion. But Imelda decided to ask Our Lord Himself. What would He reply? This book gives the answer and tells how little Imelda came to be the Patroness of First Communicants. Review: Product as expected, new book arrived on time. for 14yr old communion - I purchased this book for my son, newly turned 14 years old, who hasn't made holy communion yet. He was able to have an easy read in the afternoon, and the material was relevant to his communion goals. Review: Exciting Find! - I was looking for more ways to help prepare my daughter for her First Holy Communion, make this time special, and convey to her the importance of the sacrament. We started at Easter by putting this book in her Easter basket. The book is written in a way that was really interesting to her, had some drawings to keep the attention of earlier readers, and introduced her to a new saint in a way that makes that saint very approachable for her. It also gives kids a nice picture of life during Imelda's time. My daughter is an advanced reader, so some kids may need help reading this, but we read it together anyway so that we could talk about things in the book as we read. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | #216,567 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) #120 in Children's Christian Biographies (Books) #589 in Christian Saints #1,169 in Christian Pastoral Resources (Books) | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 90 Reviews | ## Images ![Patron Saint of First Communicants: The Story of Blessed Imelda Lambertini (Stories of the Saints for Young People Ages 10 to 100) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61nQKzXAKnL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Product as expected, new book arrived on time. for 14yr old communion *by J***H on June 21, 2024* I purchased this book for my son, newly turned 14 years old, who hasn't made holy communion yet. Even though he could have read it himself, I read it to my son the year he was making his first communion. It was a wonderful way to solidify and enhance all that he had been learning about the eucharist. And it gave us one-on-one time. It also brought up questions he had and allowed me to teach him more, which I think has enriched his faith. I don't think he'll ever forget that the eucharist is the real body and blood of Jesus and this book helps to solidify that. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2519325-patron-saint-of-first-communicants-the-story-of-blessed-imelda](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/2519325-patron-saint-of-first-communicants-the-story-of-blessed-imelda) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
