I was so sick of throwing out that half a tomato or onion that didn't get used up, and then got forgotten about or went slimy inside a ziplock bag. These keep leftovers fresh for so much longer; I'm not adding more plastic bags to landfill; and they're easy to find in the fridge. I'm yet to use the lemon one, but I'm sure it will be just as great. They nest inside each other when you're not using them, so don't take up too much valuable cupboard space in my little kitchen either!
