This bipolar Nema 17 stepper motor with step angle 1.8deg and size 42x42x39mm. It has 4 wires, each phase draws current 1.5A, with holding torque 45Ncm (63.74oz.in). Review: I have a FoxAlien CNC, Masuter Pro. I swapped out to these steppers when one of the factory steppers died after 2 years of hard work. Decided to step up and double the torque. These fit and connected with no issues. So much stronger than the originals (25nm vs 48nm) I also changed out the 2mm belts to 3mm belts. HUGE improvement.
Review: These motors seem to work fine but I had to use their cable and not the cable that was original to my printer. Their wiring is straight through - their motors are +-+- (a+ black, a- green, b+ red, b- Blue). Many other motors are +--+ (a+, a-, b-, b+). As you can see in the picture there is a crossover in the ribbon cable.

**Q: What is the running torque of this motor?  I am looking for a high running torque (62oz-in+) stepper and driver that runs on a 12vdc power source.**
A: The data sheet that came with mine shows 63.7 oz in holding torque (0.45 Nm).

**Q: is this directly compatible with and arduino? if so, what board?**
A: The stepper motor 17HS15-1504S-X1 can campatible with the arduino, but may be you need to buy our stepper motor driver DM556N-L togethier. The DM556N-L is low control signal voltage, from +3.3V to 5V which is for arduino. Here is the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLTY678

**Q: Will this work for a extruder on my monoprice maker select plus?**
A: Yes it should

**Q: can this be used with a raspberry pi driver controller?**
A: It can as long as the driver uses a separate power supply from the raspberry pi and the driver board is compatible with I2C or SPI. The raspberry pi only has 3&5v supplies and the standard gpio isn't fast enough to communicate with the driver in a reliable manner that'll produce accurate positioning.
