The standard 5/8" shackle has a 3/4" pin diameter and a 1.08" opening. The standard 3/4" shackle has a 7/8" pin diameter and a 1.25" opening. I sent it back. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Durable beyond compare *by F***L on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2018* I've flat towed at least 10 cars with a pair of these and a 20' tow strap. They still look brand new and they've never let go. ...Beats the heck out of the cheapo clip-type straps you can buy locally (that fall off easily). ### ⭐ USED Product *by L***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2019* The shackle I received looked like it had already been used and the "powder coat" was already gone in several places. The "powder coat" was very poorly done and I could scrape it off with my fingernail. It felt more like a thick chalky paint. I will be returning this and buying shackles from Rhino USA as their products are still very reasonably priced and they are much more durable. Very disappointed in this product.*Side note: Amazon packaged this with another product in the same box with no padding or cushioning.
