Took a photo of the old connections and with the various colors on the cables being the same hooking up the new one was simple. Matching all the old setting was easy. Tested the stations and everything was perfect. Review: Easy self install - Had an older Hunter 8 zone controller that had 1 zone quit working. Tested valve- worked fine. Decided time for new controller. Purchased this 1 and installer myself (62 yr old female). Was very easy. I am mechanically inclined so I took the chance. Worked perfectly! I documented existing wiring and worked zone by zone. Very pleased! Sprinkler company quoted $500 for install of this exact model.
