This is not 100% vitamin E oil. It also has soybean, corn, wheat germ, sesame, and lemon oil in it. **Q: Can this be used when making chapstick?** A: Yes, I've used it for just that purpose. **Q: The bottle says D-Apha Tocopherol but the description of ingredients states DL-Apha Tocopherol why is there a discrepancy? Is this synthetic or not?** A: My bottles that I just received says dl not just d so I am assuming they changed it at sometime and this is a soybean derivative **Q: i want to order it, but whats the expiration date?** A: Maria, the bottles I ordered, expire in August of 2019. I have never had any go bad on me as they are used long before they expire and I keep them away from the sun in a cupboard in the kitchen.
