This one locks quickly and easily to keep your pet close by your side, such as when cars go by or other dogs are near (or that squirrel makes a run for it). But it also lets your dog explore and stop to sniff while you can continue your pace. It also works very easily and allows you to swing your arms when walking without affecting your dog's movements, so it gives you both a better workout.
