Marchioro Bill 2F Covered Cat Litter Pan with Filter, Medium/Large, Tan/Brown

Strong, sturdy, easy to clean, and large enough for 3 full-grown cats to share. My three boy cats like to pee on the back of the box either above the lid line or right on it, and there has never been a problem with leaking. This box keeps it all inside. The plastic is heavy & stands up to regular cleaning, soap & water, and air drying outdoors. It comes mostly assembled, but you do have to snap on the handle and the vent covers for the filters. I don't use the flap because my cats aren't crazy about going in and out of the flap. Given the choice, they'll use the litter box without the flap.What I like about this box that sets it apart from the others that I have tried over the years:1. The lid is easy to remove & put back in place.2. The clips actually work if you make sure that they are snapped down & secure. I have carried a cleaned full litter box by the handle without the clasps unsnapping. Just make sure that the clasps are snapped down in place.3. The quality is much better than anything else out there. The heavy plastic stands up to constant use, and these have lasted much longer than other brands.4. No leaks.5. What I like about the entrance is the curved bottom of the door. It's about the right height for my older cats, but it's high enough to keep the litter inside.I have purchased this box at Petco, and it came with the rubber pads. This shipment did not come with the pads, as far as I can tell. I've used them before, and they are kind of an annoyance because they fall out with use over time. So, it was not an issue with this shipment.

I already had a small/medium of these that we bought 3 years ago (when we thought we would only have 1 cat! lol). 4 months ago me and my husband unexpectedly rescued our 4th cat and needed another litter box. Unfortunately, I could not find this brand anywhere in town, so I ended up buying a Cat-It big litter box. Worst decision ever! We ended up buying this box from Amazon and threw away the other box. This box is sturdy, big, and the top side is securely locked. Awesome. Never more will try another brand.******************* Review after a month of use **************************************** Unfortunately, I had to downgrade my ratings from 5 to 2 because the latches that lock the lead of the box are not strong enough for this size of pan. They started breaking one tooth and at this point 2 latches are completely broken, which defeats the whole reason why I bought this litter pan. I had a Cat-It pan that I got rid of because it would not lock properly and I substituted it with this Marchioro that is not presenting the same problem. I am very disappointed because my small/medium Marchioro that I have for 3 years never had this problem, and I was hoping the same durability in this one. if you can DO NOT BUY THIS SIZE IF YOU NEED TO MOVE THE PAN IN ORDER TO HAVE IT CLEANED.**********************UPDATE************************************** I was able to contact Marchioro US and they were able to send me new latches for free for me to replace mine that had broken. I have been using and moving my box for more than 6 months now and the latches have never more broken. Back to 5 stars

I needed two smaller litter boxes to fit in the space in my house appropriate for litter boxes so I was searching for awhile to find them. Turns out they are the perfect size. I'm kind of picky about design (even though it's a litter box) and chose this for the nice color options. The only downside is that the plastic is kind of cheap—the clips on the sides broke off, but I really didn't need them anyway. It suited my needs really well.

Beautiful color. Flimsy construction. Handle will pull right off if you use it to lift litter box with any litter in it. Locks on side of box are difficult to seal. Shape and size of box is great so I kept it even though it had major flaws.

I couldn't be happier with this product. Surprisingly high quality for a cat litter box. It is made of a sturdy glossy plastic, and it's not flimsy, it's very well made. There were several color choices to choose from which was neat, and it just happened to be the perfect size for what I have set up - I have a cat that isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and can't figure out that her bedding isn't her toilet (I have to crate her at night - husband is allergic so she can't sleep in the bed, and she's a kleptomaniac, and loves to take and hide things such as car keys, used q-tips from the bathroom trashcan, and sometimes ketchup packets off the kitchen table), so I have to back the litter box up to the back door of her crate so she can access it at night while she's in her crate. A n y w a y s . . . super pleased with this purchase. Thinking about investing in the 2 level cat cage next.
