They are just as described, slightly too long for my walla so I had to tack them along the skirting board but that's not too much of an issue. They have 8 different modes with the remote and the remote works well, you do have to aim it at the battery end of the lights but that's expected. **Q: Do the curtain lights get in the way of drawing the curtains? How does this work?**
A: No not at all. They sit along the window frame, so there’s plenty of room not a problem closing curtains

**Q: Do the lights work without them being plug in?**
A: No they need plugging in

**Q: Is the drop really 3m on these? My ceiling height is the standard 2.4m, but I want to fill a 1.2m window. Can they be adjusted for a shorter length?**
A: Yes, that’s what I had to do too. I just folded them up at the top to get the length I wanted and just a little cotton thread wrapped around to stop them slipping down again . The top of your window will look even brighter with the extra ‘ loops’. It worked for me. Hope this helps you.

**Q: Can the hooks be moved along the wire? I’ve put sticky hooks on the frame and obviously not measured the distance between each properly!**
A: No. The hooks are fixed at the top of each hanging curtain light section.

Great product. Bought to put in the window at the front of the house. Hooks make for easy hanging and once doubled up, as window is only 1.5M tall, it effectively doubles the amount of lights. Battery powered (no idea how long batteries will last yet) with remote control, these provide 8 different patterns (I personally like 2 & 5) of light. Just right and a bargain for the price.
