For the money I wanted to spend, these were the highest reviewed earbuds. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I gave these a shot. They have completely exceeded any expectation I had for them. The fidelity is amazing and the quality of the low end is so deep and rich -- without being noisy or distorted. Also, the durability looks to be very good (I've had them for two months).A couple of minor things to consider, but do not detract from a 5-star rating: In order for the earbuds to fit well and for the bass to have the true richness of sound that can be delivered, the 808's need to seal off the ear canal. This may be uncomfortable for some users, but with the different size tips, most anyone should find something that will fit well for them. Also, the button on the mic only starts and stops music. There is no volume control.
