I ended up passing the book along to a buddy who wanted to enlist and he also thinks it is a great help. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3 days before the test (not the best study strategy) but I was much more comfortable with ... *by E***4 on July 11, 2014* This book made a huge difference for my score. 6+ years ago I took the ASVAB and scored a 52. Embarrassing, to say the least! I just took it again after 6+ years and got a 74! Now, I crammed and study 12+ hours a day, 3 days before the test (not the best study strategy) but I was much more comfortable with the test overall. The kicker is not to just read the book and say "well, I should be good to go now." If you read all of the explanations and can truly grasp the concepts then the book will have you well prepared to take on problems like the real test. Just be sure to complete practice tests until you can get majority of the questions right before you just hope for the book to magically give you a higher test score. In other words, get your money's worth out of the thing and it will definitely make you better prepared. I gave it 4 stars because I noticed a few types of questions on the ASVAB that are never mentioned in this book at all so it may be a bit outdated. It still helped me raise my score significantly so I have no real complaints.
