Review: I am using the sheet as a simple cover for a hole in a sheetmetal box. The box is white, the sheet is white, works like a charm. The sheetmetal box happens to be a washing machine with an inaccessible drain plug that gets filed up on a regular basis (operator fault!). Cut a hole in the front of the washing machine, covered it up with the magnetic sheet. Now if it plugs, it is a simple operation; in 5 minutes we are back in business.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Any idea if these are waterproof at all?**
A: Not waterproof; it's just regular printer paper glued to a very thin magnet sheet. You can spray or paint over the printing (after the ink has dried) with an acrylic sealer or a waterproof Mod Podge to protect your project.

**Q: I want to turn paper dolls & their clothes into magnets for my daughter. Could I do that with this paper? Will the clothes stick & stay on the dolls?**
A: I am thinking you can do that.  The magnets are NOT super strong and thus will not frustrate a child wanting to dress her paper doll.  However, if the child wants the paper dolls to do calisthenics, then the magnetic clothes might not hold quite as well - lol.  I do believe it will work fine for your purposes.  Have fun!

**Q: I want to glue these on the inside of my kitchen cabinets with the magnetic side out to post recipes, etc, to...will this work with other magnets?**
A: Yes, I believe it would work but take in to account that these are not very strong magnets. These are made to print pictures, designs etc on and then put on a locker, filing cabinet, car door or some other surface. I would suggest just buying a heavier/stronger magnet that are self adhesive from a store that carries craft supplies such as Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby etc. I have bought some and used them in Sunday School and VBS to attach to the back of photo frames and such to attach to the fridge.  However, these are wonderful magnetic sheets to print things on using your home computer, hope this helps!!

**Q: Is the paper matt finish or glossy finish?**
A: It is a Matt finish.  FYI these worked great on fridges, not so great on dry erase boards.  The edges started to curl once printed and cut.

I read some reviews about how weak the magnet is in this product, but the purpose of this is not be able to print photos or other items to place on the refrigerator, filing cabinet, etc ... it's not to hold up stacks of notes or lists. This is the 2nd time I purchased these from Amazon. The first time was to create a Toy Story Pin the Tail on Bullseye game for my daughter's birthday, and the 2nd time was to print out magnetic Christmas greetings for my husband's construction customers. The sheets printed out beautifully in my HP All-in-One inkjet printer, with no smudging or flaking of the colors. Make sure you run a test piece of paper first if you don't know which way to place the magnet sheet in your printer. I emptied the paper tray so that one magnet sheet could be placed alone in the tray - a couple of times I had to give the sheet a little nudge to get the printer to grab it, but that was no big deal. If you want to send some magnetic photos of the kids to their grandparents or create some magnetic business cards, these Avery Magnetic Sheets will work just fine. If you're looking for a super magnet to hold other things, this isn't it. This was a much less expensive solution for my husband's business than having the greetings done professionally, and they look just as good.
