The packaging has been revamped and so is the formula. I would say it feels a bit more jelly like than compared to last year? however the hold is still the same, no flakiness and doesn't feel stiff or crunchy in my hair. I have 4B/4C hair and it's always a go to for a slick back bun. Also great for curl definition, you can always water it down with water. Great for wet or dry hair . Doesn't mix with shea moisture, or the lush supermilk spray/ afro hair range.
