The item title is more important than the incorrect description. **Q: What is the difference between these and the Vandoren Juno reeds?** A: The Juno Reeds are said to be cut for a beginning reed player. The CR103's are for a player who has passed the basic beginning stage. However, I played using the CR103's as a beginner and they seems to work better for me than the so-called beginner reeds. **Q: Are these round or straight where the reed starts to taper?** A: The tip it rounded to match a mouth piece. The bottom (upTo where out trappers) is slightly rounded but the entire Reed is flat against the mouthpiece. This brand of reed has excellent sound.
