A: Two individual speakers, not two sets of stereo speakers. Bummer.

**Q: Can I use this for two source inputs and one output? IE: Channel A = (inA, comA = Chromecast); Channel B = (inB, comB = other source); out=speakers?**

**Q: Instructions are unclear vs markings on the unit. does '+' mean in ..and '—' mean com?  (it appears such in the schematic)  jim**
A: if you look straight down you will see markings on the terminal blocks each block is connected to the volume control directly above it so you would connect the wires from your amplifier to in and the common next to it and your speaker to the out and common next to it you would do this for each Chanel from your amplifier and your left speaker to one volume control and your right to the other

Perfect just as needed

This was my second attempt. The first one (different brand) came broken and I had to return it but I noticed that it was too deep for the electrical box. This one fits... barely, but it fits in a standard electrical box. Very important because most of these types of units have a large circuit board and they do not fit in a standard box. The message is that if you are using a standard surface mount or recessed electrical box to install your volume control make sure you check the dimensions. This one fits and it is also nice that it has two volume controls, one for each speaker. Works as advertised and did I mention that it FITS???
