On the bottle it does not say that and my daughter cried when it has gotten in her eyes.** A: It's definitely not tear-free! I did see this posted on the manufacturer's website: Although most of our products are vegan friendly, there are some that use “No Animals Were Harmed” animal derived ingredients like honey and keratin. I absolutely LOVE this product! However, I also use it together with the swim leave-in conditioner. The conditioner does contain beeswax.
