Or does it work best on coarse hair?** A: I don't think it's advisable for fine straight hair. It's very greasy, almost too much for me, I have course African hair. It also smells really bad, I generally have to shampoo every time I attempt to use it. **Q: I noticed all races excpt for caucasions - Is the ingredients too harsh? If not I would like to try to grow back my crown and temple areas?** A: I am caucasian and as a treatment it definitely seems to help grow back patches of 'dying' hair while enhancing the body and texture of my hair overall. As a caucasian, though, you will probably NOT want to go to work or be seen in public with the oil still applied. WAAAY too oily, so it will make you look ridiculous at best. For obvious reasons, anyone with African ancestry could get away with this. There is a simple work-around in any case: I simply apply it at night, maybe two or three nights a week, then shampoo it out in the morning. It takes me two shampooings to wash it out completely. But the effect remains. An excellent product I think.
