The diamonds are evenly distributed, the cutting surface works well, they're large stones and easy to work with. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. Add a base for them and you have yourself a perfect knife sharpening system. Just be careful not to accidently score the aluminum base by snagging an edge of your knife when polishing the secondary edge like I did. Much QQ! But that's on me, not the stones. Highly recommend.
