The only reason for four stars instead of five is that I'm larger than the average person (6'2", 210lbs) and it could be maybe four inches longer for ease of use in my case. But as it is it still works well and I'm glad I bought it. It should handle many, many showers. The loofah portion on one side is nice and thick (it puffs up a bit when you get it wet the first time) but isn't prickly or overly rough, while the main body is just right for the job it's made to do, soft and comfortable to use, yet very mildly abrasive to just the right degree. Leaves my back feeling clean and kinda tingly. The handles are comfortable and it's easy to switch your hand positions for different angles across your back or other parts of the body.
