Review: So I've just taken delivery of my new keyboard after my previous mechanical keyboard failed. I loved the love of this keyboard and whilst a little expensive thought I'd have a go. Mine (the bronze leather) looks fantastic. couple of points. 1) the keys are a little slow; they have a good definite click and feel, but take a little more pressure that the usual mechanical keyboard. Almost like a hydraulic feel. If you can imagine that. 2) Purely because of the style of the keyboard and full size the keys are a little further apart. So it does feel like your fingers stretch apart a bit more. However once you adapt you don’t miss a key or stroke. Plus side it IS in UK layout so all the right keys are in the right place with the correct symbols! Big plus. Overall its wonderful, super heavy and oozes will excessive elegance and quality. Very happy with it on day 1.

**Q: When you type does it make the noise of an actual vintage typewriter?**
A: No, not at all. It makes the sound of a nicely Clicky keyboard. I absolutely love mine, and I love the sound, but it definitely doesn't sound like a vintage typewriter, especially not a pre-electric one which is what people generally think of now when they think typewriter. The people who say it sounds like a typewriter--I'd hazard a guess that they don't actually know what a real typewriter sounds like. 
As for sound level, it's not too loud. It's way louder than my whisper soft MacBook Air keyboard, but it's probably about the same loudness as my Logitech keyboard on my desktop HP.  Marvelously Clicky.

**Q: What kind of switches do these compare to? (Cherry MX brown, blue, red, or other?)**
A: The switches are kailh Blue.

**Q: Does this work with MAC?**
A: The Bluetooth Artisan version works very well with my iMac. It comes with a set of Mac keycaps that you change out according to a layout included in the manual. Then move the selector switch on the back edge to Mac and your all set. My iMac had no trouble recognizing and pairing with the keyboard. It will work like any other dedicated Mac keyboard.

**Q: can i connect this to 2 different computers switching between the usb and bluetooth connections?**
A: Yes you can switch between 2 different computers, but you would have to keep changing which computer the keyboard is connected to.
