Keep a neat, clean sink and counter, and upkeep, and it should be fine. Much like wood furniture (the real wood kind). (Sloppy wet sinks don't go well with wood countertop.) We've got 1.5" thick butcherblock w/undermount sink. **Q: What is shelf life after mixing? Can I store it for a week?** A: Shelf life of the unopened product is 3 years. The product is oxidative so any exposure to oxygen will reduce shelf life. Once the 2 components are mixed, it is recommended to use within 5-6 hours. Tip, only mix as much product together as necessary for the area you are finishing. Mix 3:1 (A:B). See manufacturers website for spread rate information and how to calculate how much is needed. **Q: Is this the legit product or is it Amazon knock off?** A: It is legit.
