Is the blade completely enclosed so that it won't snag while in my pack?** A: Longest measurements off a solid surface = 13-7/8 x 1-13/16 x 1-1/8. The blade is enclosed for the most part but there are two small openings (1/4" and 1/2") where material could be pushed into and get snagged.
