It is thick and syrupy, but has a hint of sweetness and a lot of different flavors. This vinegar works well in cooking (though not too hot, or you may cook off some of the flavors), making simple salads into great meals, and we have enjoyed it drizzled over fresh strawberries and over vanilla ice cream (if you get this, try it just once). We originally got this as a wedding gift, and it was one of our favorites. While it is expensive, that just means that you will likely savor it more and save it for special occasions.
