For the level of customization possible with this cube, it actually is a budget choice; but only when compared to some of the more expensive options that are twice the price.I am amazed with how well it performs out of the box. Defaults are somewhat soft, but still amazing. Colors are easy to differentiate too.I tinkered with it a little bit and found that with the default springs leaving the inner setting at 0.6 and changing the outer setting to 1.0 and the magnets to 1 work good for me right now. I'm sure that will change over time; but not to worry there are so many more adjustments that one could make. All the tooling and extra parts you need come with it in the box; and the packaging is a much higher quality than other cubes that I've purchased recently.I'll be using this one for a long time; had a great out of the box experience; and know that it can be adjusted to grow with me.
