The TWIST has a continuous alert that lasts 1 minute. You are able to push the "pause" button to shorten the alert. If you're looking for a Time Timer that has the option of turning off the alert - please check out our Time Timer MOD (3.5" - similar size to the TWIST), Original (8 or 12") and PLUS models (7" x 5").
