For example, Boas, Riley and Hobson Review: I had considered returning to study Mathematics at the Open University but the fees of over £7000 were not affordable for me in my current situation. Buying this book second hand as a ex-library book I can study to my hearts content and save myself the University fees. A wise choice I believe. ### ⭐ Review *by A***R on 23 September 2020* Maybe it's because my instructor is starting halfway through the book and working backwards, but this text is terrible. It's formatting is unclear, the explanations and demonstrations are poor at best, and I've had to go back to my other textbook, Calculus Early Transcendentals by Briggs, Cochran, and Gillette to actually learn the material. Even the instructor admits that it's a terrible textbook, points out errors all over the place, and actually pulls out other textbooks when he needs to make sure he's doing formulas correctly.
