It has a somewhat sticky, pasty consistency - much like other styling pomades. But not greasy at all. **Q: can this product be used on it’s own?** A: I wouldn’t recommend this as the main product. It’s best as a pre-styler especially if you have thick, coarse hair. I have thick hair but the strands are fine and this stuff makes it too floppy.
