**Q: How can you claim to have no artificial junk, when maltodextrin and "natural and artificial flavors" are listed on the label?**
A: Good question!There is less than 1 gram of malto per 20-gram serving to cut the bitterness of the amino acids and to help with clumping. Regarding the flavoring, natural flavoring means just that--not MSG (which wouldn't make sense in a product like this anyway). Before launching the line, I did quite a bit of research on artificial flavoring and couldn't find any valid, science-based reason to avoid it completely (not a single clinical indication of negative interactions in the body). Artificial sweeteners, on the other hand, are another story--there's a growing body of evidence that regular consumption can indeed harm our health. All that said, I'm actually working on switching it to 100% natural flavoring just because. :) It just takes a bit more time with this product because masking the bitterness of the aminos WITHOUT artificial sweetener or tons of malto is tough.Hope this helps!MikeFounder of LEGION

**Q: I found huge clumps of the powder lumped together (not while mixing in water) in the tub. Tried shaking tub, no luck. Whats up?**
A: DECEMBER 8 2014 UPDATE:Hi,I'm Mike, founder of LEGION, and I just wanted to give you, the customer or potential customer, an update on the clumping issues we were having with the fruit punch flavor of Pulse.Citrulline malate is an extremely hygroscopic amino acid, which means it absorbs moisture, and when used in a pre-workout, it's combined with a small amount of another ingredient to prevent this, like silica.As Pulse contains 8 grams of citrulline malate per serving, it can clump very easily, and our manufacturer conveniently forgot to take anti-clumping measures with several thousand fruit punch bottles that we ordered. As they then sat on the shelf, waiting to be sold, they began to clump up. Some become rock hard.We didn't realize this until it was too late--until customers were contacting us and leaving negative reviews. Once we found out what was going on, we promptly disposed of the clumped bottles.We've also made very sure this will never happen again, and we've sent new, clump-free bottles to everyone that has contacted us about the problem.So if you're considering trying Pulse but are worried about the clumping, you can rest easy knowing that this is no longer an issue, and even if it were, we would go out of our way to take care of you.Sincerely,MikeFounder of LEGION

**Q: How does it compare to C4?**
A: C4 is for beginners. It's weakly dosed and overall just an average product for anybody who's been lifting for a while and/or been ingesting caffeinated products quite frequently. I used it to start out and it quickly (maybe a month at most) became obsolete to the point I'd have to take perhaps 4 scoops to feel anything, and by then I knew I needed something stronger because you shouldn't ever need 4 scoops of any pre-workout. I haven't used Pulse yet, but just looking at the ingredients, I can tell you it'll be a helluva lot more effective than the basic C4 or C450x (or whatever they call it now).

Unbelievably expensive for just 10 days of usage. I thought if it was at least 20 days it would make sense. But 10 days for 150-190 dhs is crazy expensive. Don’t recommend. Should be clearer on the front. Not in small writing. Won’t return though, its known to be the highest quality so lets see. Also i need a pre workout for today… ugh. Capitalism.
