The recipes look delicious and easy! There are many that are in the calories range of 200-300, only going up to the higher 500 calorie counts if you are adding other side dishes. I think this will help with the fast days because between the two books there are quite a variety of meal ideas. It seems to be well formatted and has a cute, colorful drawing here and there. I don't believe there are any meal pictures, if there are I haven't come across them yet. The soups and main dishes sound really good. I didn't even notice at first, but there are also salads and a nice section of desserts. In addition to that, she even covers some special recipes for the holidays. This was a great buy for $2.99 and I am very pleased with it. I love that there is a holiday and desserts section too! My husband and I are calorie counting and this has helped tremendously!
