Review: Good stuff - Bought these for my "boombox" project (AMP: TPA3116D2 2X100W ; PSU: Nobsound Audio 24 V 6 A Power Adapter ) that I'm going to use in my garage. Made a calculated box for the speakers and they sound pretty nice for the price. Highs are very clear and crispy but I felt a small shortage of the mids/lows. Anyway the equaliser allowed me to adjust that and now it sounds loud and nice. Happy with the product. Totally recommend buying it.

**Q: Is this a better component system than the jbl gto series?**
A: I did extensive testing at every store in town listening to every speaker I can. I have not listened to the JBL GTO series. It looks like a pretty nice efficient speaker. I have never heard a tweeter better than the Hertz unit though (not even in the same lineup on the more expensive tweeters they offer). There is something magical about this unit that images like no other car speaker I have ever heard. The magic really starts to happen though when you combine this with the Audison A-8 8" subwoofer (still stock system)  I just sold my other car and bought a new one (2017 Sonata Turbo) and put the exact same setup in the new car. Still in love. The sub goes down to about 35 hz.  I put the Hertz units in front...and the two subs in the rear door....hooked it up to the factory harness and I am blown away. Bass is strong (not thumping...but very solid).....and for a stock system with zero amps....it is almost as loud as my $3,000 system in my Jeep...and the imaging is actually better. So my advice is to check your rear door to see if they can take the Audison A-8 and the Hertz should be fine in the front. (BTW...Audison is a sister company of Hertz).  If you have both available for a listen at stores near you I would give it a listen and pick what you like best....but I would still get the A-8's no matter what you pick up.....as they are insanely efficient and really do round out the stock system.

A: Yes

**Q: Would I need to upsize factory wiring to doors with amp powering these**
A: You could get by with a mild amplifier...like the Audison AP-8, but if you went with a more powerful amp (50+ wpc) I would re-wire using a better quality than stock.
