Review: The beast - The best mouse I've ever used. Also probably the most wasteful purchase I've ever made. Don't get it expecting to get better at any games or anything. If that is what you want, look elsewhere. If you're getting it because it's an incredibly cool bit of tech with all its attahments and colors and bling, go for it. Just don't try to justify it as anything other than overkill. That being said, you'll see plenty of information about how madcatz lost their quality over the years. I've been using mine for about 4 months now and it's as solid as it was on day 1. Will update if it dies or does something

A: Honestly, it's a little odd. It feels like a ratchets gears. It's a little tight and take time getting use to. It stays at a certain amount of tightness and feel a little bendy as well. Overall it ain't had but yes, it's weird for an expensive mouse but the design and modularness makes it worth it.

A: No, it is not.

**Q: does it have a wheel lock button?**
A: You can remove the wheel but other than that, not that I am aware of.

If You think it is succcecor of R.A.T. 3, well give up the hope. Standard/Low quality workmanship + Famous logo = Big disappointment. The creators should be ashamed, customers feel nostalgia for good, oldshool product.
