I got it for cosplay but here's the highlights There's a lot of things to mess with, you can pull the pill of the grenade, you can cock the gun pack and when you fire the barrel also moves (both have ok sound given the speaker grills are small and pretty well hidden. The knife and it's holster is the most professional looking thing in the kit, both feel very study The gun holster is soft and flexible but shows the orange tip at the buttom so that's good to note. The only issue is the guns mould job isn't perfect, there's chips and the seams are uneven but if it's for cosplay You can either fill it and buff it if you really care or just live with it and if it's for a kid they aren't going to notice.

**Q: does the pistol have the function of a real pistol**
A: No its a toy.  It has sound and the silencer changes the sound. It's an electronic toy.

**Q: When you shoot it, is it loud?**
A: It clicks like the old fashioned toy guns, so no, it's not loud at all. Frankly, it's not kid sized at all and, despite the colors is a little too realistic. I bought it for a costume prop and was surprised the kit was advertised for kids. It's an adult-sized realistic gun.

Wonderful set of action toys. Maxx Action makes very realistic items. I only gave this 4 stars as the movement of the pistol will stop working after about a month. I bought this for my son as well as the desert camo version of the pistol and both stopped working. The plastic is soft and the little tabs inside wear down after a while. I opened it to try to fix it, but cannot be done. My boys like the knife, gun holster and grenade very much. They are very realistic and they often argue over who gets to use them. That is when you know a toy is good!!!
