Wonderful and sturdy though. Wish bag was a little deeper. Hard to keep all items stuffed in, but they are always playing with it. **Q: Are there small pieces or sub-parts on the instrument? I have a 18 month old and am afraid he might put any such pieces in his mouth.** A: We bought it for a two year old who is now older, and her younger brother has played with it without issues. ( he is now 15 months) **Q: Does the themometer make any noises?** A: Don't make noises. **Q: How does this bag close - Zip, snap, Velcro, or no closure?** A: Two little Velcro tabs. It doesn’t really close super well, but good enough for a kid. I will say we tossed the stethoscope.
